Classroom and Group Programs

UMD's Group Programs are virtual experiences for high school classrooms, student groups, transfer students, sports organizations, or local community groups. Learn more about program options and request a program.

Please note: For Summer 2021, we are beginning to transition back to in-person group visits. Due to limited staff and weekday availability, we are only able to accommodate in-person group visits for small groups (10 people or less) this Summer. For larger groups (more than 10 people), we are offering virtual programs. Please see below for additional guidance on requesting a group visit at UMD.

If you are requesting a visit for Fall 2021, we will begin reviewing these requests in August.

Virtual Group Programs

UMD's Group Programs are virtual experiences for school or student groups, transfer students, sports organizations, or local community groups.

Virtual Group Program Requirements

The priority of virtual group programs will be awarded to groups that are in 9th-12th grade or transfer student groups. Then 6th-8th grade groups affiliated with a college-bound organization (Gear Up, Get Ready, AVID, Upward Bound, etc.).

Reservations are required and must be made at least two weeks in advance.

To submit a request for an available UMD virtual group program, complete this request form. Do not register for more than one date unless you are planning multiple group programs. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee availability. We will get back to you regarding your request within seven business days.

Requesting Changes, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your virtual group program, please contact our office at least one week before your scheduled program. If you cancel or wish to reschedule, you must notify us 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling a group program requires submitting a new request form.
